ASKED QUESTIONS

Have questions? We’ve got answers! From booking sessions to pricing and training details, our FAQ section covers everything you need to know to get started and make the most of your fitness journey.

  • You offer 30-minute and 60-minute sessions. Are 30 minutes enough?
My 30-minute sessions are effective and ideal for individuals with a tight schedule or those just beginning their fitness journey. I recommend arriving about 10 minutes early to warm up using the exercises we’ll cover in the first few sessions. However, if you’re aiming for a more comprehensive workout that includes strength, cardio, and mobility work, a 60-minute session may be more beneficial. Together, we’ll decide what works best for you.
  • How often should I train with you?
The frequency of your training depends on your fitness goals and schedule. For most clients, 2-3 sessions per week are ideal for making consistent progress. We can customize the frequency to suit your goals, lifestyle, and recovery needs.
  • What should I expect from first personal training session?
During your first session, we’ll conduct a fitness assessment to gauge your current fitness level. This will also be an opportunity for you to share your fitness goals, medical history, and any concerns you may have. In the next couple of sessions, I’ll lead you through a more challenging workout, allowing me to create a personalized plan tailored to your needs.

  • How do I book Personal Training, TLC-Contrast Therapy, or Group Classes?
Booking is easy via our platform, Team Up. Each service has its own process: Personal Training: To book a one-on-one session, click on the "Bookings" button on our website, then select "Appointments". From there, you can choose a 30 or 60-minute session and schedule based on trainer availability. TLC-Contrast Therapy: Therapy appointments are also booked under "Appointments". Simply click "Book Now", then select your preferred time to schedule your TLC-Contrast Therapy session. Group Classes: Group classes can be booked through the "Schedule" button. Browse our full class schedule, select the class you want to attend, and reserve your spot directly.
  • How long do I have time to sign up?
Group classes can be booked up to 1 hour before the start time. Personal training sessions and contrast therapy can be booked up to 8 hours before the scheduled time. Walk-ins are not permitted. If you need to book on the same day and can't due to the booking window, please text me at (512) 767-8045, and I’ll do my best to accommodate you. I recommend booking in advance to guarantee your spot and keeping track of your membership packages.
  • Do you have a late arrival policy?
Clients are expected to begin their workout at the scheduled session time. A 5-minute grace period is allowed for late arrivals. If you arrive after the grace period, you will not be permitted to join the session or class and it will be considered a no-show, following the late cancellation policy.
  • What is your cancellation policy/ no-show policy?
Cancellations for group classes and contrast therapy must be made at least 6 hours in advance, and personal training session cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows will result in a deduction from your membership package. Unlimited members will incur a $10 fee for no-shows or late cancellations.
  • First time doing a TLC-Contrast Therapy?! What should I expect?
The Dry Sauna and Cold Plunge are for you if you're into self-optimization! The TLC Area is reserved for you for 45 minutes. When you arrive, please shower, then enter the sauna and cold plunge area. Bring at least two towels: one to sit on in the sauna and another to dry off after the cold plunge. Spend 10-30 minutes in the sauna before immersing yourself in the cold plunge for 30 seconds to 3-5 minutes. This therapy offers proven health benefits and can significantly improve your overall well-being.
  • Can you help me with my nutrition?
I can provide general nutrition guidance to support your fitness goals. While I’m not a certified nutritionist, I can advise you on food choices, supplements, meal planning, calorie intake, and portion control to complement your training.
  • Are there parking facilities and showers available at the gym?
Yes! We have three reserved parking spots directly in front of the gym, always available for personal training clients. For group classes, if these spots are full, you can park in the adjacent parking lot, across the street when the business is closed, or on the side street (Boyer Blvd). We also have a clean shower available for all members to use after their workout or during Contrast Therapy sessions.
